1. How would you describe your role within the company?
"I oversee all administrative and business support functions, which includes everything from managing resources to coordinating with other departments. As a part of my role, I oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of our business support systems. I work closely with the key stakeholders to identify areas of improvement and to implement system enhancements. I also ensure that all systems are operating optimally and that any issues are resolved. Training and development is another significant aspect of my role. I provide guidance and training to my team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to effectively perform their roles. I am also responsible for performance evaluations and for providing constructive feedback and support to improve team performance. I am the main point of contact for any issues, queries, or feedback related to our department's services."
2. How long have you been working for the company?
"For MQMR, 2 years and 9 months. For Insourcing Partners, since its inception."
3. What specific projects or initiatives have you been involved in?
"In the beginning, I was mostly involved in projects relating to business support such as taking various administrative tasks and functions from key people to the Business Support team. These functions were drafting SOWs, invoice submissions, processing NDAs, onboarding and deboarding clients, managing trackers and reports. Later on, I got involved with systems-related projects such as Decisions, Timely, GuideCX and now ClickUp."
4. Can you share a success story?
"I started as one person serving as the executive team’s corporate exec assistant. I took on as much as I could from the leadership team which paved way to the establishment of two departments, the Business Support and the Systems team."
5. What skills or expertise do you bring to your role?
"I am a navigator and thrive better in unknown situations, which I think allows me to figure something out, delegate to my team then move forward to other initiatives."
6. What educational background or qualification do you have?
"I completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication with a major in Advertising."
7. Can you describe you approach to teamwork and collaboration?
"I believe in being open, honest, and respectful in all interactions. I also understand the importance of active listening to truly understand the perspectives of others. A common purpose can unite a team and keep everyone focused and motivated. I try to ensure that all team members understand and are invested in our collective goals. Recognizing the value of each team member’s skills and experiences is key. I respect the diversity of my team and appreciate that everyone has unique contributions to make. I believe that we can find the best solutions when we work together. I promote a collaborative environment where everyone feels safe to share their ideas and feedback. Recognizing and celebrating achievements, both big and small, helps to build morale and foster a positive team culture."
7. Why do you like working on a global team?
"People from different backgrounds and cultures bring a unique perspective to problem-solving, creativity, and innovation. This diversity can result in better decision-making and a richer array of ideas. Working with colleagues from different cultures increases my understanding of those cultures, fostering empathy and improves my ability to work with diverse groups of people."
